- *Job Summary**
As an Area Manager at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You'll play a key role in maintaining our customer expectations, ensuring customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location. - *Key Responsibilities and Job Elements**
- Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure seamless delivery of products to our customers
- Collaborate with all support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans to meet business objectives
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach to perform tasks
- Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
- Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)
- Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)
- *Essential Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., business, management, operations) preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proven track record of leading teams and achieving exceptional results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and delivery excellence
