Immigration Attorney - California Licensed (REMOTE)
Tu Brujula Legal PC is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney licensed to practice in California to join our dedicated and growing legal team. We pride ourselves on providing compassionate and strategic legal representation to our immigrant community. The ideal candidate will have several years of hands-on experience in Post-Conviction Relief, Removal Defense, and Affirmative Cases.
Remote work is welcomed, provided the attorney can appear via WebEx or attend hearings virtually as needed.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal counsel and representation in immigration matters, including post-conviction relief motions, removal defense, waivers, asylum, adjustment, and naturalization cases.
- Draft and file motions, briefs, declarations, and other immigration filings with precision and timeliness.
- Conduct legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, or similar tools to develop strong case strategies.
- Represent clients before EOIR, USCIS, and other relevant agencies.
- Collaborate with legal staff to ensure organized case management and efficient service delivery.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and provide compassionate, professional guidance.
- Experience with CLIO is a plus.
- Qualifications:
- Active license to practice law in California (required).
- 3+ years of experience in immigration law, preferably in Post-Conviction Relief and Removal Defense.
- Strong knowledge of EOIR procedures and USCIS processes.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage a high-volume caseload with professionalism.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred but not required.
