  • *Job Summary**

As a Customer Advocate I, you'll work under supervision in a fast-paced call center environment, assisting members and physicians with their inquiries. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to telephone and written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner
  • Conducting research to resolve member and physician inquiries
  • Spending approximately 85% of the scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve member satisfaction
  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Respond to telephone and written inquiries from members and physicians in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct research to resolve member and physician inquiries, utilizing various resources and databases
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve member satisfaction
  • Spend approximately 85% of the scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of member interactions and inquiries
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills
  • Adhere to careerzynith policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • *Essential Qualifications:**
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months of customer service experience or 6 months of experience in an office environment
  • Data entry and/or typing experience
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to make independent decisions
  • Ability to spend approximately 90% of the scheduled time on the phone, according to business needs, and sit for long periods with scheduled breaks
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • 9 months of customer service experience
  • Experience working with various lines of business, including CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
  • Referral preference given to applicants able to take and meet testing criteria
