We're seeking an experienced Customer Finance Senior Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance leadership team, you'll play a critical role in driving business growth, optimizing trade investments, and delivering financial objectives. - *Responsibilities:**
As a Customer Finance Senior Manager at careerzynith, you'll be responsible for providing planning and financial leadership to our sales, business unit finance, and customer teams. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing business performance to optimize trade investments and deliver financial objectives
- Leading the Joint Customer Business Planning Process (JCBP) with sales and customer teams to develop and achieve aligned goals
- Providing financial leadership to sales and marketing teams to deliver profitable business results
- Partnering with sales and regional general managers to drive business growth through volume, trade spend optimization, mix, and new item payback analysis
- Leading area, channel, and HQ reviews to influence investment decisions across retailers
- Performing cost/benefit analysis to influence trade-off decision making
- Objectively communicating customer execution and financial results across the organization
- Leading period/quarter/year close and VMR reporting/analysis for trade
- Owning and leading financial aspects of Joint Customer Business Planning with the retailer
- Leveraging ROI analysis and financial trends to influence customer execution plans
- Ensuring team delivers on-going financial analysis and perspective to influence decisions and results
- Partnering with field sales to make trade-off decisions across products while ensuring alignment with brand strategy
- Leading the development and distribution of financial reporting and reviews to provide organizational visibility and transparency
- *Financial Leadership:**
As a Customer Finance Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for providing financial leadership to our sales and marketing teams. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing leadership to sales and marketing teams to deliver profitable business results

As a Customer Finance Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the financial aspects of Joint Customer Business Planning with the retailer. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Owning and leading financial aspects of Joint Customer Business Planning with the retailer
- Leveraging ROI analysis and financial trends to influence customer execution plans
- Ensuring team delivers on-going financial analysis and perspective to influence decisions and results
- Partnering with field sales to make trade-off decisions across products while ensuring alignment with brand strategy
- Leading the development and distribution of financial reporting and reviews to provide organizational visibility and transparency
- *Support the Quota Management Process:**
As a Customer Finance Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring that quota/trade deployment delivers AOP financial commitment. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that quota/trade deployment delivers AOP financial commitment
- Supporting the translation of national trade spend plans into customer level budgets by providing accurate inputs into the quota build process
- Providing updates to trade budget based on completed customer level spend plans (i.e. monthly flow, corrections to costing, etc.)
- *Enforce Revenue Management Compliance:**
As a Customer Finance Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for enforcing revenue management compliance. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Regularly tracking key pay-for-performance metrics such as shelf price compliance, merchandising support, unit cost, etc.
- Monitoring and enforcing account level trade spend throughout monthly, quarterly, and annual cycle; AOP to plan to actualization
- *Organization Development:**
As a Customer Finance Senior Manager, you'll be responsible for developing human capital and organizational capability through motivation and empowerment. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Leading efforts to streamline processes, eliminate redundancy, and share best practices
- Partnering with sales and business unit finance leaders to ensure incentive plans and cross-functional processes align to deliver desired organizational results

- *Qualifications:**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred
- 5+ years relevant experience; CPG experience strongly preferred
- Experience in planning and analysis, influencing sales teams, and profit management
- Broad knowledge of products, customer structures, promotional allowances, trade funds management
- Systems experience to include: Trade Management Systems, Trade Promotion Optimization, and Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- People leadership and development experience
- Travel required 20% - 25%
