As a Business Intelligence Engineer within Customer Service – Social Media, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Defining careerzynith's business intelligence strategy and influencing architectural decisions
- Providing business intelligence solutions that solve complex problems for the organization and inform multiple business decisions
- Building a robust, extensible, and scalable reporting structure
- Contributing to business reviews and communicating effectively with leadership audiences
- Defining and iterating on data strategies that cross multiple Customer Service teams
- Driving best practices in operational excellence, data modeling, and analysis
- Hiring, mentoring, and developing others

As a Business Intelligence Engineer within Customer Service – Social Media, you'll be working on a wide range of exciting projects that will help us understand current and past customer behavior, influence the solutions we build, and deliver the best future experience for our customers. You'll be constantly identifying ways in which we can improve our understanding of the business, making faster, more confident decisions, and driving business growth.
- *Essential Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform, and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning, and data mining
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
- Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership
- *Preferred Qualifications**
While not essential, it's highly desirable if you have:
- Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Microsoft Azure Synapse Analytics

- A competitive base salary, ranging from $117,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,800/year in our highest geographic market
