As a Customer Service Representative, you'll work as part of a dynamic sales team to provide exceptional service to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting and providing specialized services to customers
  • Performing transactions quickly, efficiently, and professionally
  • Providing layaway services, refunds, merchandise exchanges, and price adjustments in accordance with careerzynith policy
  • Taking and placing customer special orders, computing costs, and following up with vendors
  • Monitoring status of rain checks, tracking orders, and advising customers of receipt and delivery
  • Assisting customers with NEXCARD account openings, applications, and basic program information
  • Becoming knowledgeable in careerzynith store policies, including Richter Merchandising System functions and operation
  • Interacting with customers and coworkers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Communicating information to customers knowledgeably and legibly
  • Reviewing stock assortments and communicating with supervisors, store managers, and other team members regarding additions, deletions, customer preferences, and problems
  • Participating in department meetings and actively seeking to exchange ideas regarding improvements in customer service, job performance, and achievement of store department sales goals

  • *Qualifications**
  • 1 year of responsible experience in clerical, office, or retail sales store work, demonstrating the ability to perform satisfactorily in the position to be filled
  • Substitution of education for experience: Study completed in a college, university, or junior college above the high school level may be substituted on the basis of one-half academic year of study for 6 months of experience
