  • *Key Responsibilities**

As a Customer Service Associate at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, resolving issues, and creating a positive shopping experience for our customers
  • Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service
  • Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services
  • Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience
  • Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience
  • Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items
  • Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested; processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed
  • Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records
  • Checking in and pricing merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader
  • Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss
  • Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products)
  • Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise
  • Assisting with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures (e.g., raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves)
  • Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products
  • Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers

  • To be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • To be willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours
  • To have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • To have six months of experience in a retail environment (preferably with careerzynith)
  • To have prior work experience with careerzynith (preferably in a customer-facing role)

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • To be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • To have prior work experience with careerzynith (preferably in a customer-facing role)
  • To have six months of experience in a retail environment
