We're now seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Customer Marketing to join our team in San Francisco, CA. As a key member of our marketing leadership team, you'll be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive customer marketing strategy that elevates our successful customers and drives advocacy, engagement, and customer value.

As the Director of Customer Marketing, you'll be a strategic partner to marketing, sales, product, and customer success, ensuring alignment on customer-centric initiatives that support careerzynith's growth objectives. You'll own the overall customer marketing vision, leveraging data-driven insights and innovative tools to amplify our brand and cultivate a thriving community of careerzynith advocates.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive customer marketing strategy aligned with careerzynith's overall business goals, focusing on driving advocacy, retention, and growth
  • Define and prioritize key customer marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with sales, product, and customer success strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customer advocates, motivating them to participate in careerzynith marketing activities for mutual benefit
  • Ensure a steady stream of customer stories that can be amplified across all marketing channels, and that field teams can be trained on so that we always lead with stories of customer success and business value
  • Keep careerzynith in top position on sites like G2 and Gartner Peer Insights
  • Manage and lead customer events, including customer advisory boards and user groups, that build engagement with both executive and practitioner audiences
  • Operate a scalable customer reference program that connects prospects with customers who can reassure them about the benefits of joining the careerzynith community
  • Lead a high-performing team as a player/coach, getting the best out of team members while coaching and developing them
  • Find creative ways to measure the impact of customer marketing on our business, and share these with key stakeholders on a regular basis
  • *You Are**
  • 10+ years leading and building customer marketing functions and driving measurable impact for B2B SaaS companies
  • Creativity combined with an infectious passion for your craft
  • A grounding in how to balance design with pragmatism, budgets, and business requirements
  • Excellent project management, resource management, and planning skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Impeccable attention to detail, demanding excellence in every deliverable with a mentality of constantly raising the bar
  • Player-coach and team builder who leads by example, and can get the most out of your team while helping them develop and improve over time
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills; a natural storyteller and creative problem solver; a collaborator with constant curiosity and learning mentality
