  • *Key Responsibilities**

As a Senior UX Designer on the Amazon Delivery Customer Experiences team, you will be responsible for:

  • Bringing forward innovative ideas and solutions to raise the bar on customer experience with delivery
  • Effectively advocating and designing for the customer through objective data such as market analysis, customer insights, technical constraints/opportunities, and business insights
  • Partnering closely with business and development teams to plan and balance immediate changes with long-term, scalable solutions
  • Quickly and thoroughly creating user flows, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes to effectively concept and communicate detailed interaction behaviors that support decision making and development
  • Assessing and optimizing the effectiveness of new and existing features by proactively planning, performing, and advocating validation techniques like usability testing, user research, and interpreting analytic data
  • Presenting design work to UX partners, cross-disciplinary teams, and executive leaders

  • *Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of design experience
  • An available online portfolio
  • Experience defining and maintaining design patterns and UX standards
  • Experience with best practices for Product and Experience Design (including User Interfaces, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design)
  • Experience in end-to-end design projects from design strategy through execution
  • Knowledge of best practices for information architecture and product design
  • Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, Proto.io, HTML, or similar
  • *Preferred Qualifications**
  • Experience designing customer-facing retail products
  • Experience acquiring user data (e.g., conducting usability studies, performing user research) and creating personas and journey maps
  • Experience presenting to and effectively advising partners within and outside of design
  • Experience identifying and informing data needs to communicate strategic and tactical recommendations

  • *Compensation and Benefits**

careerzynith offers a total compensation package that includes a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package.
