Role Description

    BI Analysts will work closely with all departments to develop functional and technical departmentally specific tools, such as tracking tools, other related software, processes, and tools with an aim toward enhancing work efficiency and effectiveness in the organization, and with a focus on standardization.
  • Take ownership of foundational data and further development of SQL server.
  • Engage and assist Project Managers during development activities while ensuring foundational data complements the system blueprint and defined standard development practices.
  • Work and coordinate with Project Managers and Department Directors to align requirements and solutions across the platform.
  • Identify and analyze project and technical risks & impacts; define alternatives & prioritizations to remove roadblocks.
  • Assist with product assessments including fit/gap analysis, building PoCs and providing recommendations on data architecture/tool, etc.
  • Drive system and tool optimization activities by reviewing current processes and implementing change when necessary.
  • Build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that provide insights that can be easily interpreted and applied by business leaders to help improve their performance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications
  • BS or BA degree in business, economics, finance, accounting, Business Intelligence analytics, MIS, computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau) preferred.
