We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Representative to join our Licensing Division. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing high-volume customer service to licensing applicants in person and via phone, processing applications, and performing a range of clerical tasks.   • Provide high-volume customer service to licensing applicants in person and via phone, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Process applications, including reviewing and verifying information, and ensuring compliance with established policy and procedures
  • Perform a range of clerical tasks, including data processing, record-keeping, and research
  • Check records for accuracy and completeness, and make corrections as necessary
  • Assist applicants with outreach to other city agencies and interagency communication to help resolve issues pertaining to their license
  • Answer telephone calls, emails, and written correspondence, and communicate applicant information in a clear and concise manner
  • Attend seminars, meetings, and trainings to stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by management
  • *Qualifications**
  • A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization
  • One year of satisfactory clerical experience, preferably in a customer service or licensing environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
