Position Summary

The Assistant Director of Clinical Services provides leadership and oversight of clinical programs across Pennsylvania. This role partners with the Director of Clinical Services to ensure high-quality, evidence-based behavioral health services, regulatory compliance, crisis intervention support, staff supervision, and consistent clinical practices across residential programs.

This position requires regular travel (30-60%) throughout Pennsylvania to support programs, staff, and operational needs. Willing to consider out of state applicants providing the applicant is able to accommodate the travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise Clinicians and Behavior Specialists

Ensure compliance with Medicaid, state, federal, and accreditation standards

Support implementation of evidence-based clinical and behavioral health practices

Provide clinical oversight, consultation, crisis intervention, and behavior support

Monitor clinician caseloads, staffing needs, and service quality

Review clinical documentation for accuracy, quality, and compliance

Conduct staff training, supervision, and annual evaluations

Support audits and quality improvement initiatives

Collaborate with internal teams, outside providers, and community partners

Maintain positive relationships with regulatory and referral agencies

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, or related field required

Must hold an active Pennsylvania clinical license in a mental health or behavioral health discipline to be considered (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LMSW, BCBA, LLP, LMHC, etc.)

Minimum of 1 year of clinical supervision experience required

Experience supporting individuals with IDD, Autism, SMI, and high-acuity behaviors preferred

Knowledge of Medicaid, HCBS, and behavioral health regulations preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 30–60% throughout Pennsylvania required

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
