POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a results-driven Director of Sales, Private Haulers to lead our efforts in expanding us within the private sector. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in sales, Pipeline growth and strategic relationship building. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by developing targeted sales strategies, optimizing prospecting efforts, and managing key accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive new business and expand relationships.
Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, promoting pipeline growth and deal continuance.
Establish and refine sales processes tailored to the Private Hauling sector, focusing on prospecting, lead qualification, and contract negotiations.
Drive outbound sales efforts, leveraging phone, email, and in-person meetings to engage decision-makers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Monitor and analyze sales metrics, optimizing strategies to improve conversion rates and revenue.
Stay informed on industry trends, funding sources, and government procurement processes to enhance sales effectiveness.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment on messaging, lead generation, and customer needs.
Own revenue targets within the Private Hauling segment, providing strategic guidance to meet and exceed goals.

QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in a senior sales role focused on private sector sales.
Deep understanding of municipal procurement processes, budgeting cycles, and decision-making structures.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and grow a sales team.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Data-driven mindset, leveraging analytics to optimize sales performance and strategy.
