Hours: Approximately 5 hours per week, flexible hours
Pay Rate: $20/Hour.

About the Internship
Blueprint Schools Network is seeking a Communications Intern to help strengthen how we tell our story and amplify our impact. This internship is ideal for a junior or senior undergraduate studentâor a graduate studentâstudying communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
Youâll work closely with our team, including our grant writer, to elevate our digital presence, align messaging across platforms, and share compelling stories of student success, AmeriCorps service, and school partnerships.
This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to a national education nonprofit while building a strong portfolio of mission-driven communications work.
Role & Responsibilities
Collaborate with Blueprint team members to develop high-quality, mission-aligned content for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter/X)
Write clear, engaging copy and curate visual content that highlights student impact, AmeriCorps service experiences, and school partnerships
In partnership with Blueprintâs Data and Operations Coordinator, assist in translating program data and outcomes into compelling, accessible content for external audiences
Contribute creative ideas to increase engagement and visibility across Blueprintâs digital channels
Support storytelling efforts that align communications with development and partnership goals
Maintain and update Blueprintâs content library, including organizing and archiving photos, videos, and media assets
Assist with content calendars, scheduling, and coordination across platforms
Support a consistent social media cadence (approximately 2â4 posts per week across platforms), ensuring content is timely and aligned with organizational priorities
Track and analyze basic performance metrics (e.g., engagement, reach) to inform future content and improve effectiveness
Share regular updates with the Blueprint team on content produced, key insights, and upcoming communications opportunities
Support the development of simple guides or materials to help team members share content across their networks
Qualifications
Demonstrated enthusiasm for Blueprintâs mission and interest in education or nonprofit work
Strong writing and communication skills
Social media savvy; experience managing or creating content preferred
Willingness to learn new tools and platforms for content creation
Self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively while managing multiple tasks
Familiarity with Google Workspace required
Experience with Canva, Airtable, or similar tools preferred
