- *Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Primary Facilitating Conditions (FHE) group, you'll be responsible for designing, building, upgrading, and maintaining the infrastructure required to support our various portfolios. You'll work closely with our Server farm Site Director to ensure site reliability and system availability through the implementation of corporate security and service management strategies, data handling office determinations, technology guidelines, processes, and training.
- *Key Responsibilities**
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you'll have a significant impact on our organization by:
- Providing proactive identification of risk and developing and implementing risk remediation plans
- Providing guidance or direction to less experienced staff within a team of server farm engineers covering 7 x 24 x 365+ dealing with the actual server farm equipment and Layer 1 cabling changes
- Supervising the planning of installations, decommissions, research, and investigation of equipment and natural events connected with server farm availability
- Being able to continue with potentially hazardous procedures with the safety of the investor as a top priority, using sound judgment without any definite guidance, and making, executing, and maintaining management strategies, standards, and rules intended to carry out, support, and safeguard our most significant IT resources
- Being responsible for setting up, normalizing, and executing site-specific tasks approaches, principles, and rules as a team with the Corporate Properties Group and other site management partners
- *In this role, you'll:**
- Lead or participate in high-level technical discussions covering technology and business
- Develop specifications for complex infrastructure frameworks, design and test solutions
- Contribute to the testing of business, application, and technical system requirements
- Drive solutions to reduce recovery time
- Audit and examine solutions for cloud security, secrets management, and key revolutions
- Design, code, test, investigate, and record programs using Agile development practices
- Plan complex system upgrades
- Resolve problematic patterns as they arise
- Develop a long-term plan intended to resolve issues and prevent them from recurring
- Direct the daily risk and control stream of tasks, focusing on strategies, systems, and work guidelines to ensure a good outcome
- Collaborate and communicate with peers, colleagues, and directors to resolve issues and achieve objectives
- *Required Capabilities**
- 4+ years of experience in Infrastructure Framework Designing and Solutions, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of server farm experience
- *Desired Capabilities**
- Experience supporting technology at a project level
- Capability with server, storage, centralized computer, and network equipment
- Capability with Layer 1 Foundation Plan
- Broad knowledge of server farm operations (space, power, cooling, and network)
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of IPv4 and IPv6 subnetting and VLAN technologies to perform FQDN generation and tasks
- Ability to collaborate effectively at different levels of the business and technical organizations, including management
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Precise attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Core strengths around the board in basic conditions
