As a Data Entry Administrative Assistant at careerzynith, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff and projects. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Managing databases and maintaining an orderly filing system
  • Assisting Project Managers by building detailed databases for tracking purposes
  • Typing any and all correspondence
  • Secretarial work
  • Outgoing mail management
  • Other miscellaneous tasks

Your duties may change as needed, and you will be required to work with multiple projects and deadlines. This position demands a high skill set of organization and prioritization.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry
  • Check source documents and completed work for accuracy
  • Verify data and correct data where necessary
  • Obtain further information for incomplete documents
  • Update data and delete unnecessary files
  • Combine and rearrange data from source documents where required
  • Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database, files, and forms
  • Scan documents into document management systems or databases
  • Store completed documents in designated locations
  • Respond to requests for information and access relevant files
  • Print and organize information when required
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies
  • Maintain office equipment and stationery supplies
  • *Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years' experience in an office setting preferred, but not required
  • Formal computer training is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications
  • Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed
  • Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, including closely monitoring all aspects of the job and continually checking processes and tasks
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to listen and follow instructions correctly and good written communication skills, including the use of appropriate grammar and spelling
  • Able to work under pressure and maintain performance and work standards under stress
  • Efficient work management, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing
