We're seeking an experienced Data Entry Specialist to join our remote team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing business compliance across states by tracking, updating, and maintaining LLC data. You'll work closely with our business owner and colleagues to ensure the accuracy and organization of our clients' entity data. If you're a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply!
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Search public state databases to verify LLC status and standing
- Enter and maintain accurate LLC data in Excel spreadsheets and a web-based portal
- Flag any inactive or non-compliant LLCs and document steps required to restore good standing
- Conduct basic online research to determine compliance requirements by state
- Potentially contact state offices to clarify filing or compliance procedures (Phone)
- Track filing deadlines or expiration dates and input into internal systems
- Assist with onboarding new clients by verifying and uploading their entity data
- Perform additional administrative tasks as needed
