  • *What You'll Be Doing**

As a Customer Support Representative with careerzynith, you'll have the unique opportunity to:

  • Answer inbound calls from individuals seeking assistance with public benefit programs
  • Interact with customers in a professional, empathetic, and compassionate manner, providing information and support in accordance with established policies, procedures, and privacy laws
  • Assist customers with program enrollment, routing them to the appropriate contacts via three-way calls to ensure a smooth call transfer
  • Provide translation services for callers who don't speak English, as well as relay services for callers with speech or hearing impairments
  • Place outbound calls as needed to share time-sensitive information with customers
  • Utilize multiple computer systems to access data and document information
  • *About You**

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least one year of customer service experience, with a strong background in handling high-volume calls and resolving complex issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds
  • Great active listening skills, with the ability to empathize with customers and provide personalized support
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document customer interactions and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Strong PC skills, including the ability to quickly learn new computer applications and navigate multiple systems
  • A positive attitude, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Empathy, patience, and professionalism, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
  • Strong multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple calls and tasks simultaneously
  • The ability to maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable programs, policies, and procedures

To ensure your success as a Customer Support Representative, you'll need:

  • A computer meeting the following criteria:
  • + Operating System: Windows 10 or 11+ Memory: 8GB of RAM+ CPUs (Speed * Processors): 6+ Hard Drive: At least 500MB of free space+ Sound: sound card (standard on most computers)+ Up-to-date antivirus software+ Access to high-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or Satellite, please)+ Dual monitors+ A USB noise-cancelling headset+ A webcam for your certification experience
  • *Flexible Hours of Operation**

As a Customer Support Representative, you'll enjoy flexible scheduling, where you use a self-scheduling platform to select when you work and when you don't, within the client's hours of operation. Our hours of operation are:

  • Monday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET
  • Tuesday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET
  • Wednesday, 8:00 AM to 01:00 PM ET
  • Thursday and Friday, 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM ET

This flexible opportunity pays independent contractors $13 per hour.
