  • *Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior RME Technician to join our Maintenance team. As a Senior RME Technician, you will be responsible for leading a team of Maintenance Technicians, overseeing maintenance activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. You will work closely with our team to identify areas for improvement and implement new processes and technologies to drive efficiency and productivity.

  • *Key Responsibilities**
  • Lead a team of Maintenance Technicians by providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure they achieve their objectives
  • Develop and maintain Preventive Maintenance programs, building consistency programs, including office and project worker management
  • Act as a safety ambassador within the team and promote safe working practices across the site
  • Oversee maintenance-related purchase requests to ensure smooth office operation and control of basic extra and store stock to guarantee sufficient stock levels for maintenance
  • Introduce, maintain, and investigate all FC systems, including power distribution, automated material handling equipment, transportation, and other operational equipment
  • Create and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization, including regular participation to site leadership meetings and controlling panels
  • *A Day in the Life**
  • In each shift, you will be driving a team to ensure everyone has the equipment they need and that it's running properly. This includes observing cycles to ensure guidelines and procedures are followed and guaranteeing that preventive maintenance is done to increase equipment uptime
  • With all that you see on your shifts, you will recommend enhancements to make our systems more efficient and effective
  • This role is situated at one of our operational sites. You will work shift patterns, which may include some weekends and nights
  • *Essential Capabilities**
  • Formal trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter/Turner, or current Electrical A-Grade license
  • Initiative experience in managing multi-trade teams in a fast-paced assembling/dissemination focus environment
  • Applicable experience in automation or material handling equipment conditions
  • Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks and focus on a wide range of projects and responsibilities
  • Experience using CMMS (Automated Maintenance Management Systems) to design proactive maintenance and record responsive tasks
  • Experience in project worker management
