As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician Data Entry and Customer Service Professional, you'll play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations by performing data entry tasks, collaborating with pharmacists, and providing exceptional customer service.   • Perform order entry tasks and collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the medication dispensing process
  • Provide best-in-class customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating concerns to the appropriate team members
  • Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
  • Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions
  • Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx's and ensuring timely completion
  • Provide dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
  • Create and maintain accurate customer records

  • Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and pharmacy management systems

  • Prior experience in the long-term care industry
  • PTCB National Certification
