- *A Day in the Role**
As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Processing various medical documents, including Independent Medical Reviews
- Extracting data from documents and entering it into our electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word
- Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion
- Using critical thinking skills to determine next steps and reach out to clients via phone to obtain missing information
- Providing excellent customer service and client coordination over the phone
- Meeting productivity and quality standards in a metrics-driven environment
- *Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of remote work experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Reliable high-speed internet
- Your own computer or laptop (no Chromebooks)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a metrics/quota driven environment
- Previous experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims is preferred
- *Schedule**
Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. You will be expected to work independently and manage your time effectively to meet productivity and quality standards.
