As a Front End Pharmacy Technician with Omnicare at careerzynith, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our medication dispensing process. • *The Role**

As a Front End Pharmacy Technician with Omnicare at careerzynith, you will be responsible for:

• Performing order entry tasks and collaborating with other team members in the medication dispensing process
• Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
• Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
• Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
• Providing dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
• Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

• *Required Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
• One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician

• *Preferred Qualifications**

While not required, prior experience in the long-term care industry and PTCB National Certification are highly desirable.

• *Education**

A verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required.

• *Pay Range**

The typical pay range for this role is $30.00 - $60.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and other relevant factors.
