As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Answering calls from participants regarding initial and continuing eligibility for income maintenance programs related to medical services
- Gathering, verifying, evaluating, and entering necessary social, financial, and medical information into various applications
- Maintaining complete and accurate computerized records of participant interactions
- Performing a variety of diverse tasks while continuing to maintain currency and accuracy of program requirements
- Ensuring timely processing of participant inquiries/annual reviews to meet client needs and program mandates
- Meeting or exceeding daily standards for performance, accuracy, customer service, and quality
- *Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Basic office and computer skills
- Exceptional communications and customer service skills, including skills in handling client behaviors such as fear, hostility, and aggression
- Knowledge of mathematics and accounting principles used in the calculation of public assistance benefits
- High-speed internet, quiet space with a door to safeguard equipment and modem/router to hard wire phone
- Knowledge of the general provisions, objectives, and philosophy of public assistance programs
- Ability to multitask and resolve issues when necessary
- Excellent attendance with no absences during the 6-8 week training period
- Clean background and ability to pass drug screening
