Experienced Customer Service Representative – Airbnb Guest Relations and Operations

- *Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our remote team. As a key member of our guest relations and operations team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support and service to our guests, while also contributing to the growth and success of our operations. This is a part-time, temporary position starting in October, with the possibility of moving to a more permanent schedule in January 2025.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- Provide exceptional support and service to our guests, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Utilize AI-powered tools, such as ChatGPT, to leverage comprehensive guest messaging that resonates with our brand and travelers
- Screen potential guests and provide support for guests, resolving issues in Airbnb, VRBO, or Marriott
- Respond to guest inquiries and communicate and escalate issues to management via Slack
- Achieve 5-star ratings and Superhost Status through exceptional service and support
- Write and respond to guest reviews on Airbnb, VRBO, or other platforms
- Report maintenance and damage issues to Operations via Operto Teams
- Report and submit damage claims to Guesty Shield for reimbursement
- Build, manage, and report in-house maintenance labor
- Working knowledge of business financials/accounting to assist the onboard of accounting systems
- Experience in 3rd party vendor relations for tertiary market management
- *Essential Qualifications**
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in the hospitality or travel industry
- Proficient in English, with perfect grammar and communication skills
- Experience with Guesty and/or HostAI is a plus
- Ability to leverage AI for comprehensive guest messaging that resonates with our brand and travelers
- Comfortable speaking English on the phone and using a VoiP to speak with guests and vendors
- Availability and reliability in CST and Eastern United States time zones
- *Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with ChatGPT and other AI-powered tools
- Knowledge of business financials/accounting and experience with accounting systems
- Experience in 3rd party vendor relations for tertiary market management
- Availability for part-time overnight shifts from 11p-7am CST
