- *Position:** Experienced Customer Service Representative/Social Worker
- *Location:** Remote (Pasadena, CA 91107)
- *Schedule:** Monday-Friday, 8am-5:00pm
- *Pay Rate:** $25-27/hour
- *Roles and Responsibilities:**
As an Experienced Customer Service Representative/Social Worker, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional customer service to high-needs In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) recipients, often in emergency situations or requiring assistance with navigating county and state public assistance programs, such as IHSS and Medi-Cal.
- Handling inbound calls and correspondence in a professional and courteous manner.
- Resolving all aspects of customer inquiries, providing accurate and timely responses.
- Entering accurate information into our database.
- Collaborating with various staff members to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintaining records and ensuring proper documentation.
- Performing light administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and envelope packing.
- Handling email and phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- *Requirements:**
- Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field, such as Psychology, Sociology, or Counseling.
- 1-3 years' experience in social work or homecare administration.
- Previous Call Center or Customer Service experience.
- Microsoft Office proficiency.
- 40 wpm typing speed.
- Background screen after acceptance of job offer.
