Sr. Product Owner, Agriculture Finance and Leasing

Summary of the Job: The Senior Platform Product Owner provides strategic leadership for banking technology platforms that support FNBO’s agricultural lending and leasing business (DFS Finance). This role is responsible for translating business strategy into product execution by serving as the Product Owner within an Agile team and aligning business objectives with technical delivery. The Product Owner partners closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to lead the development of complex, cross-functional initiatives and ensure solutions deliver measurable business value. About This Role: Problem Definition & Opportunity Validation Define and articulate product initiatives by identifying customer and partner needs, user problems, and business value. Partner with User Research and Product Design to translate customer, partner, and internal insights into clear product direction. Business Value & Success Measurement Monitor key performance indicators, user feedback, analytics, and support trends to evaluate return on investment and inform prioritization decisions. Drive continuous improvement by identifying friction points and prioritizing enhancements that improve user experience and reduce operational complexity. Solution Development & Decision Facilitation Collaborate with technology, architecture, and vendor partners to evaluate solution options and recommend approaches based on business impact, cost, risk, scalability, and technical considerations. Translate business needs into clear requirements for technical teams and facilitate informed decision-making throughout discovery and planning. Backlog & Scope Management Define minimum viable product scope, sequencing, and backlog priorities to balance speed to market with long-term platform sustainability. Maintain a well-defined backlog through clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and capacity-aligned prioritization to support efficient delivery. Product & Delivery Collaboration Serve as Product Owner within an Agile delivery framework, ensuring work is clearly defined, thoroughly tested, and aligned with product strategy and business objectives. Develop essential product documentation and stakeholder materials while maintaining accountability for delivery outcomes and business readiness. The Ideal Candidate for This Role: Influencer with great interpersonal skills and proven ability to achieve alignment across a range of different views and interests. 5+ years of experience in Product Management or related role. Scrum/Agile (CSPO) certification preferred. Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects of varying complexity levels with a proven track record of detail-oriented execution and strategic thinking. Brings innovative and creative problem-solving approaches while maintaining self-direction and accountability for deliverables. Strong technical leadership skills Proficiency with technical discussions; ability to understand system diagrams and API concepts. Advanced knowledge of banking regulations and their technical implications Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship. Compensation: Compensation range (base pay): $107,552.00-$182,838.00 This role may have a specific starting pay within this range. Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level. Work Environment: It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work onsite at the posted location.
