Associate IT Systems Engineer
Associate IT Systems Engineers are responsible for monitoring, installation, configuration, debugging, administration, troubleshooting and maintenance of technology solutions. Associate IT Systems Engineers provide technical support, troubleshoot problems and perform scripting/programming to ensure stable and efficient operation of technology solutions.
What You Will Be Doing
Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters and containerized applications
Manage and optimize Linux systems (RHEL and CoreOS) across development and production environments
Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks (Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools)
Monitor system performance, security, and availability; respond to incidents
Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement infrastructure improvements
Document configurations, procedures, and runbooks
Participate in capacity planning and infrastructure upgrades
Manages system/application environment and ongoing operations (10%)
Ensures that the technologies are updated with current, stable, and compliant architecture and applications that meet enterprise standards (10%)
Assists with researching, designing, implementing and testing of technology solutions (10%)
Proactively monitors and reports performance and utilization of assigned technologies (5%)
What We Require
2+ years related work experience. Experience Details: Demonstrated proficiency and experience in design, implementation, monitoring and/or troubleshooting technology
Extensive working knowledge of multiple technologies and their interfaces and integration
Competent working in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating system.
Extensive experience implementing and administering/managing technical solutions in major, large-scale system implementations
Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities
Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance
Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
High school diploma or GED
What We Prefer
Hands-on OpenShift or Kubernetes experience
Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, or CKA)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
Knowledge of container registries and image management
OpenShift/Kubernetes, Linux, Ansible, Terraform, Bash/Python, Git, Docker
1-3 years of IT systems or infrastructure experience
Strong Linux administration fundamentals (user management, networking, storage, permissions)
Basic understanding of containerization and Kubernetes concepts
Experience with infrastructure-as-code or configuration management tools
Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python, or similar)
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and documentation abilities
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions Experience using Agile methodology
General Physical Demands
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.
Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Typical Annualized Offer/Hiring Range: $65,400 - $81,700
Annualized Salary Range: $65,400 - $106,200
Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
