As a Customer Service Representative, you'll play a critical role in this effort, working with customers to find the right products, answer their questions, and provide expert advice and guidance.

  • *Who You Are & What You'd Do**

You'll be a key member of our team, working remotely to provide exceptional customer service and support to our customers. Some days you'll speak with gardening professionals, while others you'll work with customers who are new to gardening and need your advice. You'll have the opportunity to continuously learn more about the gardening world, while sharing your passion and knowledge with others. You don't need to be a Master Gardener to join our team, but you do need to have a passion for gardening and a willingness to learn.

  • *A Day in the Life of a Customer Service Representative**

As a Customer Service Representative, your day will be filled with a variety of tasks and activities, including:

  • Answering customer calls and emails to aid them in placing new orders, checking on existing orders, adding to an order, or troubleshooting on an order they received
  • Navigating our websites and internal systems to assist customers with their queries
  • Participating in team meetings and quality reviews to ensure continuous improvement and excellence in customer service
  • Working with customers to find the right solutions for their yards and gardens, and providing expert advice and guidance
  • Collaborating with other team members to share knowledge and best practices
  • *Training & Coaching**

As a new Customer Service Representative, you'll receive comprehensive training and coaching to ensure your success in this role. Our training program includes:

  • Mandatory training days, Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm EST
  • Interactive training through Microsoft Teams, requiring on-screen participation
  • Auditing by our trainer to ensure you're successful in your new role
  • Follow-up training to cover more in-depth topics once you have a handle on your daily flow
  • Required monthly team meetings from 5pm-7pm EST on every Third Thursday

This role will be entirely remote, including our interactive training, which will be conducted through Microsoft Teams and require on-screen participation. You'll need to have secure, high-speed internet to take VoIP calls and team meetings through video conferencing tools.
