As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to our Maryland Medicaid customers, answering their questions, resolving their issues, and ensuring that they receive the best possible experience. - Provide exceptional customer service to Maryland Medicaid customers via phone, email, and chat
- Answer customer inquiries, resolve issues, and escalate complex problems to senior representatives
- Utilize our State's eligibility and enrollment portal and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to perform all tasks and duties for HIX customers
- Meet or exceed customer satisfaction targets, quality metrics, and productivity standards
- Collaborate with our team to develop and implement process improvements, best practices, and training programs
- Stay up-to-date with changes to Medicaid policies, procedures, and regulations
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
- *Essential Qualifications**
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, call centers, or healthcare-related roles
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
