• *A Day in the Life**

As a Test Engineer in our Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging team, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from designing and executing testing for packaging machinery and automation projects to collaborating with cross-functional engineers to improve system requirements. You'll be responsible for reporting test results to stakeholders, informing product design evolution, and driving continuous improvement.

• *Key Responsibilities**

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to design and execute packaging machinery and automation projects
• Design and conduct rigorous product testing in careerzynith's labs or in the field at Operational sites
• Test system, subsystem, and component level using Mechatronic principles
• Support the improvement of system requirements
• Provide test result reports to stakeholders

Our Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging team is a dynamic and innovative group that's passionate about developing, deploying, and scaling automated solutions across our Fulfillment Network. We work backwards from deep customer insights to design solutions that seamlessly integrate into brownfield and greenfield deployments, with safety as our top priority. Our team takes ownership for the entire packaging experience, from selling partner design to total customer experience, and we're committed to eliminating waste and packaging wherever possible.

• *Qualifications**

• *BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**

• 3+ years of Quality Assurance Engineering experience
• Experience in verification and validation testing
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience working in new technology or product development
• This Role Requires 75% National Travel

• *PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

• Masters degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Understanding of safety systems
• Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate coverage of requirements
• Deep hands-on technical expertise in testing of electro-mechanical systems
• Experience analyzing complex data
• Experience in automation or robotic systems
• Familiar with manufacturing environments
• Basic coding/scripting capabilities (Python preferred)
• Experience in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
• Ability and desire to work hands-on in lab environments
• Experience with Minitab, R, or other statistical packages and methods
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
