Marine Travel Consultant
- Job Description:
- Accurately and efficiently handling incoming contacts requests via multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, etc.)
- Provide active travel consultation towards business customers, including travel details and upselling of related products
- Provide exceptional service which exceeds client expectations
- Manage and control all facets of travel arrangements, as requested by clients
- Search and confirm travel reservations for customers
- Hands-on involvement in crew movements, rotation, and disruption handling
- Provide customers with required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, penalties, and visa information
- Respond to customers promptly and provide undivided attention
- Willingly offer assistance to team members within and across teams
- Meet individual and team goals Requirements:
- Proven experience in ERM, marine, offshore, or crew travel environments
- Hands‑on expertise managing crew movements, rotations, and disruption handling
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform accurately under pressure
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, 24/7 service environment
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a global, multi‑regional operations setup
- Relevant skills in GDS Amadeus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Demonstrated understanding of customer servicing excellence
