As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry processes. Your primary focus will be on entering information into our AS400 system from Bills of Lading (BOL) scanned at our service centers. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of data entry, while maintaining high production levels and providing exceptional service to our internal and external customers.
- *Primary Responsibilities**
- Enter BOL information into AS400 for numerous customers in a timely and accurate manner
- Identify and correct any errors on BOLs prior to entering the information into the system
- Maintain high production levels while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide exceptional service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless data entry processes and high-quality customer service
- *Job Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of data entry experience, preferably in the trucking industry
- Knowledge of shipping and transportation documents
- Typing speed of 50 wpm with high accuracy
- Proficiency in AS400 and excellent typing and spelling skills
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers

- Experience working with AS400 and other data entry systems
- Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools
- Certification in data entry or a related field
- Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
