Job Title: Remote Audit Manager (Employee Benefit Plans)
Location: 100% Remote
Salary: $115,000 - $150,000 per year
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team in a 100% remote capacity. This role is dedicated to the Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) practice, requiring a seasoned professional who can manage engagements with autonomy and technical precision.
- Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage EBP audit engagements from planning through completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely communication and exceptional service delivery.
- Review audit workpapers, financial statements, and Form 5500 filings.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to senior and staff auditors.
- Ensure compliance with DOL and ERISA regulations.
- Requirements:
- 5+ years of recent experience in Audit within a public accounting firm.
- Demonstrated expertise in Employee Benefit Plan audits (preferred experience of 10+ engagements per year).
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP and GAAS as they pertain to benefit plans.
- CPA designation is required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex engagements in a fully remote environment.
