Technical Co-Founder Opportunity – Fintech Startup (Options Trading / Personal Finance Dashboard)
We're an early-stage fintech startup in the Bay Area. We have a working product and are looking for a technical co-founder to help take it to the next level. Hoping for someone local to the Bay but open to anyone from anywhere in the world.
What we're building:
A personal finance and options trading dashboard that gives users complete control over how they view and analyze their financial picture. Built specifically for the self-directed options trader, but flexible enough for anyone serious about their wealth.
Where we are:
- The product foundation is built. This isn't an idea-stage role — there is an existing codebase, a clear product vision, and a founder focused on business development, growth, and partnerships. We need the right technical partner to own and drive the build.What we're looking for:
- Full-stack or data engineering background with a track record of shipping products
- Interest or experience in options trading, personal finance, or fintech
- Comfortable with financial data APIs and real-time data systems
- Self-directed — able to lead technical decisions independently
- Startup mindset — you want ownership, not just a paycheck
- What's on offer:
- 15–25% equity stake (based on experience and stage of involvement)
- 4-year vesting / 1-year cliff (standard co-founder terms)
- Co-founder title and full technical ownership
- Flexible remote arrangement
