Job Description for Marketing Advisor at Healthcare Shares

Healthcare Shares is a healthcare-focused venture capital fund that invests in socially impactful startups in areas like digital health, medical devices, and life sciences. We are seeking to form a marketing advisory board to help build Healthcare Shares' brand, expand its community of members, and support startups within our portfolio with their marketing strategies. The ideal candidates will have deep expertise in marketing, particularly in the healthcare, startup, or venture capital ecosystem.

This role is perfect for professionals passionate about healthcare innovation and eager to leverage their marketing expertise to drive growth and engagement.

Responsibilities
• Brand Strategy:
Help refine and enhance Healthcare Shares' brand positioning within the healthcare investment ecosystem.
• Community Growth:
Develop strategies to increase the number of community members engaged with Healthcare Shares through LinkedIn marketing and other marketing channels.
• Marketing Support for Startups:
Advise portfolio companies on marketing strategies, including brand development, customer acquisition, and digital marketing best practices.
• Market Insights:
Provide insights into healthcare industry trends and digital marketing innovations to inform branding and outreach efforts.
• Networking & Partnerships:
Leverage professional networks to foster strategic partnerships and boost Healthcare Shares' visibility.
• Thought Leadership:
Assist in content strategy, including articles, webinars, and industry event participation, to enhance Healthcare Shares' reputation as a leader in healthcare venture capital.

Qualifications
• Marketing Expertise:
Strong background in marketing, branding, and community growth, particularly in healthcare, startups, or venture capital.
• Strategic Thinking:
Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with Healthcare Shares' mission.
• Industry Knowledge:
Understanding of healthcare investment trends and the challenges startups face in scaling their marketing efforts.
• Communication & Mentorship:
Strong interpersonal skills to advise startups and collaborate with other advisors.
• Mission Alignment:
Passion for healthcare innovation and commitment to advancing health equity.
