Description
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. In this role, you will provide high-quality speech therapy services to patients in a collaborative healthcare environment while building strong relationships with patients, families, and facility staff.

- Pay: $50.83 per hour. PRN as needed position.Patient Care & Therapy ServicesEvaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disordersPerform screenings and assessments for appropriate patientsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansMonitor patient progress and accurately document outcomesCommunicate patient needs and progress with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teamsProvide education and support to patients and caregiversCollaboration & Facility EngagementBuild positive working relationships with facility staff and healthcare professionalsParticipate in care planning meetings, family conferences, utilization reviews, and interdisciplinary team meetingsCollaborate with Physical Therapists (PTs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), and other rehabilitation professionalsHelp develop and implement innovative therapy programs and techniquesEducate staff and community members about speech therapy servicesProfessional ExcellenceMaintain compliance with facility policies, patient rights, infection control, and safety proceduresStay current with industry trends, clinical best practices, and continuing educationMaintain active state licensure and professional certificationsRequirementsMinimum Required Education/Experience: Hold a master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology (may be dually certified in audiology). Hold a valid state license.Pre-Employment Knowledge, Abilities and Skills:
- Ability to operate general office equipment including computer software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with the public, other agencies, employees, and administration. Note: An acceptable combination of education, training and experience that provides the above knowledge, abilities and skills may be substituted.Necessary Special Requirements: Must obtain annual flu vaccination and any job-specific immunizations. Required to submit to a two-step PPD test.Licenses or Certificates: If driving, a valid driver’s license and ability to be insured as a facility driverUnusual Demands: Work is subject to recurring and inflexible deadlines and frequent interruptions.
