We help our customers configure ID.me and support their launch on our identity network. We are a key part of a dynamic sales team.We are looking for a Senior Solution Consultant to support our . You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, leveraging technical expertise and sales acumen to build our customers' understanding of ID.me. Our Solutions Consultants work hand-in-hand with 2-3 Strategic Account Managers to craft creative solutions focused on customers' north star values, and aid in implementation and occasional support for our customers post-go-live. You will leverage your experience selling and speaking to the value over product, becoming a trusted advisor to our key stakeholders and upholding ID.me as a key technology partner.Candidates must have recent experience doing software Solution Consultant/Sales Engineering. Candidates must be located in the midwest near a major Midwest metro or Mountain View, CA and this will be a hybrid on-site position with occasional travel.Responsibilities:
- Leverage technical expertise with APIs, federated protocols, and state agency customer environments to drive sales strategy and success (having success getting hands-to-keyboard with OIDC, SAML, OAuth, and IAM platforms like Okta is key).
- Diagnose and document customer technical and business requirements
- Design and configure solutions that address customers' unique needs and offer the most value from ID.me's products
- Develop and configure demos that position differentiated solutions
- Quantify the business and technical value of ID.me in solving customer problems
- Execute Proofs of Concept with complex use cases and integrations
- Write accurate and compelling RFP content that position a unique ID.me solution
- Craft reusable technical content such as whitepapers, playbooks, and how-tos
- Develop and maintain relationships with the technical representative(s) at the customer
- Mentor teammates and share technical expertise and industry knowledge
- Distill, prioritize, and communicate product feedback to internal teams
- Present at marketing events, trade shows, and user conferences
- At least 5 years of solution consulting experience directly supporting an Account Executive as a team/partner, particularly with pre and post-sales engineering
- Coding bootcamp experience is a big plus!
- Experience working (preferably in a sales capacity) for Government customers or E-commerce/Marketing solutions is a big plus.
- Background with Identity and Access Management concepts and platforms is a strong plus
- Adaptability, excitement for the problem, and a passionate energy make this a good fit.
- Experience with standard network security protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML 2.0, OIDC)
- Hands-on experience with web development (JavaScript, HTML, frontend frameworks)
- Exceptional speaking, writing, and presentation skills to all audiences
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or similar preferred
