Growing together.The UHN Adjustment and Call Representative is responsible for answering Incoming calls from Providers while ensuring a high level of Customer Service and maximizing productivity on claim adjustments.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide the very best Customer Service to callers (medical providers)
- Resolve, educate and respond to medical provider inquiries in regards to network pricing or participation issues
- Adjust medical claims according to specified procedures and standards, meeting all production and quality standards
- Initiate and complete the dispute resolution intake form
- Review and complete adjustment project details for previously processed claims in regards to network discounts and claim edits
- Prioritize and organize own work to meet agreed upon deadlines

- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of healthcare customer service experience
- Intermediate level of proficiency with processing adjustments using UMR CPS (Claims Processing System)
- Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel to create, update and sort spreadsheets
- Ability to successfully navigate computer systems and software
- Ability to read and interpret directions and apply mathematical calculations to claim adjustments
- 1+ years of experience taking incoming calls with VCC (virtual call center)
- Previous UHC network exposure or experience
- Strong interpersonal skills at both an individual and team level
- Strong written, verbal and business communication skills
- Strong research and analytical skills
Expected salary: $16.88 - 33.22 per hour
