Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) – 1:1 School-Based Role (Springfield, PA | 2025–2026 School Year)
Blazer Jobs is partnering with a supportive school district in Springfield, Pennsylvania to hire a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, school-based position for the 2025–2026 academic year. This unique opportunity involves providing 1:1 care to a student in a special education setting, including riding the school bus to and from school to ensure safe, continuous medical support throughout the day.

Required Credentials (State of Pennsylvania):
- To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Active RN license issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Up-to-date clearances required by Pennsylvania school systems, including:
- Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
- FBI Fingerprinting Clearance
- Strong preference for candidates with at least one year of nursing experience, especially in pediatric, school-based, or special needs settings
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct medical care and monitoring to an assigned student throughout the school day
- Ride the school bus with the student to ensure safety and medical oversight during transportation
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency care in accordance with physician orders and school policies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
- Communicate regularly with the school team, medical professionals, and family members
- Support the overall health and wellness of the student within the classroom and school environment
