We are currently recruiting dedicated Hiring O&M Specialist for Schools in Glendale, AZ. This role offers competitive compensation and benefits designed to support you as you help students with visual impairments gain independence.
- Overview:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Responsibilities include planning and teaching mobility skills tailored to each student’s needs, per their IEP
- Performing thorough assessments addressing both immediate and ongoing requirements
- Regular collaboration with families, classroom teachers, and special education staff
- Position requires onsite presence
- Additional details provided during interview
- Qualifications:
- Valid IVP fingerprint clearance
- Master’s degree in Orientation and Mobility or a related discipline
- Certified by ACVREP
- At least two years of experience in a public school setting
