Financial Assistance Analyst (Epic Go-Live Support)
CSI Companies is actively hiring for a Remote Financial Assistance Analyst (Epic Go-Live Support) to support our healthcare client during a large-scale Epic Go-Live.
Hours: 40 hours/week; Monday – Friday EST
Location: Remote (Must reside in the US; may need to travel onsite for the first week)
Pay: $39.50/hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Assistance Analyst to support Epic Go Live efforts by ensuring accurate reconciliation of financial assistance records across legacy and Epic systems. This role plays a key function in preserving continuity for patients with existing approvals, identifying crossover patients requiring special handling, and ensuring data integrity through the transition.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Review and run reports identifying patients with financial assistance coverage in both legacy and Epic systems.
- Perform accurate data entry in Epic Bridges and related Epic Financial Assistance modules.
- Reconcile historical approvals (1 year prior) and forward-looking authorizations (6 months ahead) to maintain uninterrupted patient support.
- Cross-reference and validate balances, approvals, and documentation across both systems.
- Track crossover patients using analytics tools; escalate discrepancies as needed.
- Collaborate with Financial Counseling and Revenue Cycle staff to troubleshoot mismatches or missing data.
- Ensure ongoing QA during Epic Go Live to mitigate risk of patient coverage lapse.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Review and run reports identifying patients with financial assistance coverage in both legacy and Epic systems.

- Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in Medicaid eligibility, hospital financial assistance policy, or patient advocacy.
- Prior experience working on EHR/Epic transition projects.
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with multiple systems and datasets.
