Online Math and ELA Tutor (Hours between 9:00 am PST and 4:00 pm PST)
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing individual or small group instruction and support to students in math or ELA.
Classes are delivered virtually to students in grades k-12 using our customized curriculum.
Classes are 40 minutes long and take place between the hours of 9:00 am PST and 5:00 pm PST.
- Duties:
- Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions
- Monitor and evaluate students' progress
- Provide assessment results and feedback
- Develop a strong rapport with students and foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure student success
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of teaching experience
- Valid teacher's certificate (either active or expired)
- A passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in Spanish or Russian
- Experience working with English Language Learners
