Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Southwest Airlines, working on a Salesforce application that provides a 360-degree view of customers and their interactions with the airline. As a key member of the Customer360 team, you will design, develop, test, and implement software systems that meet customer requirements, organizational policies, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply programming skills to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products
- Communicate project status and proposals to clients and stakeholders
- Document system and application architecture for future updates and maintenance
- Evaluate customer needs and develop software to meet requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues during design, testing, and maintenance phases
- Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software products
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the growth and development of the team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Intermediate knowledge of software development processes, practices, and technologies
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java preferred)
- Experience with Salesforce development, including Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, and Service Cloud
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with DevOps tools, such as GIT and SalesforceDX
