Job Objective: Enhance the Avila Beach Hotel's online presence and brand reputation through strategic social listening and engagement, aiming to increase website traffic by 10% and boost direct bookings by 5% within the next six months.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Social Listening and Monitoring: Monitor conversations, mentions, and reviews related to the Avila Beach Hotel and the Caribbean travel industry, conducting sentiment analysis and competitor research to inform strategies.

  • Engagement and Community Management: Actively engage with users on platforms like TripAdvisor, Reddit, and Facebook, fostering a community atmosphere and promoting direct engagement with potential guests.

  • Content and Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies based on social listening insights, identifying content gaps and recommending new blog articles or updates to enhance user experience and SEO.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide daily reports on key findings, achievements, and engagement metrics, conducting monthly analyses to inform future actions and recommend strategies for website optimization and user experience improvements.

  • Brand Reputation and Crisis Management: Monitor for potential PR crises or negative sentiment, working with the marketing team to develop response strategies and managing the hotel's brand reputation online.


Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Proven experience in social media management, community engagement, or a similar role

  • Familiarity with social listening tools and analytics software

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong understanding of online etiquette

  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Knowledge of the travel industry and Curacao's tourism market is a plus
