Key Responsibilities:
- Determine patient eligibility for state, federal, or county programs, ensuring access to essential healthcare services
- Maintain a high-volume case load while upholding productivity standards and delivering exceptional customer service
- Develop and nurture professional relationships with hospital staff, patients, and state workers to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration
- Prepare and ensure accuracy of documents, adhering to organizational standards, policies, and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to excellence
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and their families
- Demonstrated problem-solving and case management skills, with proficiency in technology such as phone systems, computers, and Microsoft software applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Texas Medicaid Enrollment Experience, with knowledge of Medicaid, Social Security Administration, and County Social Service programs (preferred)
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) candidates are highly encouraged to apply
