Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and group instruction to students, reinforcing learning material and skills introduced by teachers
- Supervise students in the classroom, playground, and during lunch periods
- Translate materials and information for parents, students, and staff
- Administer tests and assessments, and maintain accurate records
- Assist teachers with instructional duties and maintain a positive learning environment
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or 60 college credits and 1 year of childcare work experience
- Knowledge of educational policies, regulations, and laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual skills preferred
- Highly Qualified status as designated by No Child Left Behind
