Hybrid Computer Support 2 - 3rd Shift: Join Our Dynamic Team as a Remote IT Expert
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Computer Support 2 professional to join our team on a hybrid schedule, working remotely with occasional on-site training. As a Computer Support 2 - 3rd Shift professional, you will play a critical role in supporting our client's computer, network, and client server infrastructure. If you have a passion for IT, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review input data to verify adequacy and appropriateness of material required for data processing and related operations.
- Review output data to verify completeness, accuracy, and conformance to quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain internal records and catalog, disperse, and return tapes/disks as needed.
- Review daily processing logs and set or revise schedules as required.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in a related technical discipline or 2 years of related experience (4 years of non-related experience can be substituted for Associate's degree).
- 1 year of related experience in IT support or a similar field.
- Ability to understand and work in an autonomous environment and escalate incidents quickly with clear and concise triage steps taken.
- Common understanding of cybersecurity concepts and IT architecture.
- Proficient in:
- Microsoft OS administration.
- SPLUNK or similar SIEM tools.
- Network defense systems (Cisco, Palo Alto FW).
- Wireshark, PCAP analysis.
- COMP TIA/SEC Certification, Ethical Hacker Certification an asset.
