Job Description:


We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Software Support Engineer to join our End User Computing team in Chicago, IL. As a key member of our team, you will provide top-notch support and maintenance for our Echo core applications, ensuring seamless user experiences and resolving technical issues with ease.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Deliver advanced application support to end users, prioritizing and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical and business stakeholders, to identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Knowledge Base articles to document problems and solutions, ensuring knowledge sharing and continuous learning

  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24x7 support, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service and issue resolution

  • Work closely with infrastructure and development teams to gain a deep understanding of application design and functionality


Requirements:



  • 3+ years of prior application support experience, with a strong focus on customer service and technical troubleshooting

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

  • Self-motivated and team-oriented, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering high-quality results

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required)

  • Experience working with DBMS, HTTP requests, and API tools (e.g., Postman) is a plus
