As a key member of our Organization Security Engineering group, you will play a critical role in supporting Business and Technology Cloud initiatives. Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for the technical design and deployment of a diverse set of cloud and on-prem technologies. You will work efficiently within a highly skilled and agile engineering team to identify and address security gaps, and provide technical recommendations to management, business, and technology teams. Your expertise in firewalls, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and cloud principles will be essential in driving our team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain current on-prem cloud platforms that support agile teams
- Provide solid, predictable deployment and maintenance of distributed systems adhering to security best practices
- Participate in production support and be available for on-call shifts
- Ensure the stability and performance of critical business services
- Participate in Agile Sprints and related activities
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in information security, with a strong understanding of LAN and WAN technologies
- Experience working with Cisco Firewalls, Switches, and Routers
- Palo Alto certification required (PCNSE 6 or higher)
- AWS and GCP experience preferred
- General understanding of threat protection strategies (IPS/IDS, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide in-depth analysis of complex issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and guide other team members
