Senior Payment Analyst - Corporate Finance

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Payment Analyst to join our Corporate Payment Analysis Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in identifying, recommending, and implementing process improvements to support timely and accurate payments to vendors. About the Role:
The Senior Payment Analyst will work closely with department leadership, Procurement, Toyota Plants, Accounting & Finance Leadership, and Suppliers to provide support for exception processing, resolve payment issues, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to support timely and accurate payments to vendors
- Lead resolution research and respond to external and internal customer inquiries related to payment issues
- Upload or enter invoices to SAP, clear Global Netting transitions, process voids, and reissue payments
- Support system implementation, User Acceptance Testing, and IT break-fix testing and enhancements
- Perform key SOX controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Respond to internal and external audit requests, providing documentation and explanation to auditors
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable, or other finance-related roles
- Proven analytical, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
